How Much Will the Google Pixel Cost on Black Friday & Cyber Monday in 2023?
The Google Pixel 2 is the flagship smartphone from Google. The phone was released on October 4th, 2017 at the October Pixel event. As it was such a new release, we didn’t come across any Google Pixel 2 Black Friday deals in 2023, but since Google now has a new flagship, the Google Pixel 3, we are hoping to see deals released on the older model.
We have limited price history on the Pixel 2. However, Google is no stranger to Black Friday deals. During Black Friday in 2018, the Pixel was reduced by around 22%, so we could see discounts in the region of 20-25% for the new models for the Google Pixel 3. Since the Pixel 3 has been released, we have seen some retailers already drop the price already in 2022:

Because of this, our analysts do think that Google Pixel 2 Black Friday deals in 2o22, and possible Cyber Monday deals too, are likely this year.

The new Google Pixel 2 comes in two sizes, the regular Pixel which has a 5-inch screen, and a 6-inch XL. The Google Pixel 2 has new Google assistant capabilities, an improved user interface (UI) and there are some brand new smart experiences to the camera.
The Pixel 2 has been developed by HTC and LG, and there are substantial differences from the original Pixel. The new design of the Google Pixel 2 is even bolder than the previous pixel and Google seem to really be defining their own design style. The Google Pixel 2 doesn’t feel like a copy of the Galaxy Note 8 or iPhone. The Aluminum body with premium coating gives an ultra clean finish and fits comfortably in line with other new Google releases like the Google Pixelbook. The design is really quite striking.

Google Pixel 2 Key Specifications
There are many differences to the way that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL look, but on the inside, they are pretty much identical. The design of the Pixel 2 is still quite similar to last year, though Google has added dual front-facing speakers which are great for audio and watching video. Unfortunately, though this improved audio comes at the cost of a headphone jack. It’s not the end of the world though, as losing the headphone jack means IP67 water and dust resistance.
On the smaller pixel is an improved 1080p OLED display and an upgraded Snapdragon 835 processor, with a 2700mAh battery which should comfortably last out a full day. The larger Pixel 2 XL boasts a 6-inch 2880×1440 pOLED display. The XL has smaller bezels that reduce the overall size of the frame. It’s kind of similar to the LG-V30. Under the hood, there’s a 3520mAh battery to power that extra screen size!
It is too early to give a full review of the camera, but one of the most exciting feature improvements from last year is the addition of optical image stabilization (OIS) to expand the electronic stabilization we saw on the previous Pixel.
