The Cintiq range are Wacom’s high-end graphics pen displays that come in a variety of sizes and models to suit different needs and purposes. Since you’re on this page you are most likely wondering whether Wacom Cintiq Black Friday deals are likely and, if so, what kind of discounts should you expect?
Due to their premium nature, we don’t think the Black Friday or Cyber Monday Cintiq discounts will be particularly hefty. That said, after taking a look at the price history of different models, we are predicting sales could be in the region of 10-25%. See below for specific details.
The entry-level Pro 13 has seen the most discount in the past, with the data showing sales of up to 25%. Wacom Cintiq Creative Pen Displays
The Wacom Cintiq are a range of premium graphics tablet built for professional designers, artists and illustrators. Compared to the more affordable Wacom Intuos range, the most obvious difference between the two is the integrated LCD display. This enables the Cintiq to operate as a stand alone monitor.

Wacom Cintiq Pro 13

The Pro 13 is an entry-level pen display in the Cintiq range. That said, it is still a highly capable tablet and is by no means low range! The device connects to your PC/Mac via USB and mirrors your computer’s display, which can make it a lot easier to work with than the Intuos range. This is because you don’t need to keep looking up at a screen whilst drawing – it’s a lot more natural. Here’s the key specs!
- Full HD – The LCD is full HD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a wide color gamut (87% Adobe RGB).
- Light & Portable – At 1.2kg, it weighs around half as much as its predecessor. This makes it easier to hold it in one hand and draw with the other.
- Wacom Pro Pen 2 – Includes the latest stylus, featuring 8192 levels of pen pressure for 4x the accuracy and precision of the previous model.
- Intuitive Navigation – Multi-touch allows you to zoom, pan and scroll with your fingers – similar to a smartphone. Also includes 4 customizable shortcut keys, pen buttons and a radial menu that you can set to functions like copy and paste, undo etc. Whatever optimizes your workflow!
- Integrated Stand – Makes working at an angle easier.
- Software – Wacom provide some free software with your purchase, but the Cintiq 13 is also compatible with most 2D/3D software applications such as Adobe, Corel, Manga Studio etc.
As you can see, this is a very high spec device with a hell of a lot of potential. Even though this is the entry-level tablet in the range, it is still a premium bit of gear. So we’d recommend looking out for Cintiq Pro 13 Black Friday deals to try and get a better price. You might also be interested in looking for deals on the old model of the Pro 13, which does not feature touch functions.
Wacom Cintiq Pro 16
The Pro 16′ is very similar to the previous model, but with a couple of additional features. Most obvious is that it has a bigger 16 inch screen, let’s take a look at some of the other differences below.
- Resolution up to 4K – With a max resolution of 3840 x 2160, this little puppy is 4K ready! 2K is also supported for devices that are not 4K ready.
- Better Color Accuracy – With 94% of Adobe RGB, the colors are rich and vibrant.
Think the extra features justify the price hike? As a designer it will depend on the size you are most comfortable/feel natural designing with. As for the screen quality, no one can argue with that! Wacom Cintiq Pro 22HD & 22HD Touch

The Pro 22HD and 22HD Touch have a lot of the same features as the previous tablets. Let’s run through some of the key differences between the normal and touch models, as well as with smaller Cintiq tablets.
- 21.5” Screen – Most obviously, they feature a large 21.5” screen. The 22HD range is an older model and is not 4K enabled, although the resolution is still pretty good at 1920 x 1080.
- Express Keys – 16 User-Assignable shortcut keys for way more control and improved workflow.
- Two Touch Strips – More navigation with two one-touch strips.
- Multi-touch – only featured in the 22HD touch.
- Recline/Rotate – Works like an easel and rotates up to 180 degrees, so you can find your most comfortable working position.
- Heavier – At around 8.5 kg, the Pro 22 is better suited as a workstation rather than portable tablet.
- 3 Pens – Comes with the standard Grip Pen, as well as the Airbrush pen – replication of ink application, spray distance and tilt angle, and Art Pen – replicates the feel of a marker pen.
In terms of features, you might think the Pro 22HD models are substandard to the Pro 13 & 16. However, this is a good option if you specifically need a bigger screen for design purposes and have a use for the extra short keys. Wacom Cintiq Pro 24

The Pro 24 is a new release from Wacom that fits nicely in between the Pro 27 and 22 models, so is well suited for those who may have thought one was too big and the other too small. Here are the key features of the Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 this Black Friday.
- Screen – Most notable here is the 23.6″ screen size. There are two models, one which is touchscreen and supports multi-touch gestures for improved workflow, and one without touch. It also features a stunning 99% Adobe RGB, so colors can be matched incredibly accurately to real life.
- Resolution – Bumped up to 4k with 3840 x 2160 px resolution.
- Remote – Similar to the Pro 27QHD, the 22 Pro comes with a remote for operation at a distance.
Wacom Cintiq Pro 27QHD
The Cintiq Pro 27QHD and 27QHD are Wacom’s largest and most high-end graphics tablets in this range, but boy are they worth it! The giant screen in this model is difficult to comprehend, it has to be seen to be believed (check out the vid below). The 27QHD has all the features of the 22HD, with some extras. Let’s take a look at what these are below.
- Giant High Res Screen – Features a 27 inch QHD screen with resolution of 2560 X 1440.
- Highest Color Accuracy – With 97% Adobe RGB, this tablet has a total of 1.07 billion colors. Also includes REC 709 for frame-to-frame color matching. The accuracy and vibrancy are outstanding.
- Sleek, Ergonomic Design – Despite being a lot larger than the 22HD, it still only weighs 9 kg!
- ExpressKey® Remote – Improves workflow even more by enabling you to easily scroll, zoom and rotate etc. Also great for displaying work and presentations.
- 17 User-Assignable Keys – Comes with one extra shortcut than the 22HD.
The Cintiq Pro 27QHD is a mammoth graphics pen display. Yes it is expensive, but this tablet is designed for professional designers who can likely justify the investment. We really think it’s worth waiting to see if there are going to be Cintiq Pro 27QHD Black Friday deals before taking the plunge.
