Bose has just released a new addition to their speaker range with the Bose Home Speaker 500. This speaker is incredibly high quality and has some really cool new features. As it has just been released this October our analytics team cannot look at price history to see if it will get Bose Home Speaker 500 Black Fridays deals.
However, we will be posting any potential Cyber Monday or Black Friday Bose Home Speaker 500 discounts right here! But before you make a purchase, check out some of the key features below.
Bose Home Speaker 500 Black Friday Buyers Guide
We think you may love the Bose if you are in the market for a high-performance smart speaker. Bose has delivered a speaker that gives a “wall-to-wall” experience, as well Alexa enabled to complete the full experience. However, it is not a cheap speaker due to the focus on quality, so therefore we do advise to look out for Bose Home Speaker 500 Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals.
We personally loved the Bose Home Speaker 500 and think you may too.
Firstly, as expected Bose has designed a sleek and compact speaker. Coming in black or white, you can choose to suit whatever your interior design may be. Also being wireless you have more freedom about where it can be placed without having to worry about aux cables!
It is not that big either, measuring to be 8″H x 6.7″W x 4.3″ D and only weighs 1.75 pounds. We really like this, especially as it is a portable speaker. However, even though it is small and compact, this certainly does not mean they have cut corners with quality. Made from an aluminum cylinder body, it is durable and designed to survive small knocks and bumps.
Bose has built in a small color LCD screen on the front that will display the album art cover of the music it is playing at the time. This is a neat touch and can really make the speaker look stylish. Bose also released two sound bars, the Sound Bar 500 and Sound Bar 700. These can be paired with the Bose Home Speaker 500 to deliver an all round listening experience.
If we take a look inside the Bose, we will see two specially built drivers sending sound in opposite directions. Bose claims that this will bounce off walls and create a listening experience that separates this speaker apart from its other single unit competitors.
The speaker is packed full of features. Coming with built-in WIFI and integration with Alexa, you are able to send the speaker your own commands and access Spotify. Alexa will allow you to play songs, playlists, pause and next as well as an array of other abilities. Bose have also produced a high quality mic designed to be able to hear you even when music is playing. Bose is also hoping to release Apple Airplay connectivity sometime at the start of next year.
Bose has built-in high-quality Bluetooth that should ensure uninterrupted listening, as well as AUX capabilities if all else fails. Looking at the top of the speaker you will see a range of buttons, including buttons 1 to 6. These allow you to set presets to your favorite radio stations. They can also be used to link to Spotify for specific albums, songs or playlists.
The speakers can be adjusted and tweaked with the Bose Music app which is being released into the Android app stores soon. However, they do not function with the old SmartTouch app that Bose previous speakers used. This is something that is a bit frustrating as if you own an old Bose speaker with SmartTouch you cannot pair it with the new speaker range.
As for the performance of sound quality, Bose has made yet another great speaker with a good range of highs and lows. The speaker can also go loud, really really loud. Be careful when you turn it up to full volume as it could give you quite the fright. At about 80% volume it still performs well, with a lack of fuzz that you can get with lower quality speakers. Considering its size and portability, we were very impressed with the Bose Home Speaker 500 capabilities.
To sum everything up Bose has produced a fantastic speaker. This smart speaker might be exactly what you are looking for, with great portability, high volume output, and wifi capabilities. However, this quality does come at a price, so keep an eye out for Bose Home Speaker 500 Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals to try and get a discount!
