Will we see Star Wars Battlefront 2 Black Friday or Cyber Monday discounts?
Battlefront 2 was released on November 17, 2018, being so close to Black Friday, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said that EA themselves will not discount Battlefront 2 around Black Friday, but other game retailers may run their own promotions, therefore absorbing the cost themselves.
“Maybe you’ll even see some selective discounts around the holidays, either Thanksgiving or Christmas. That’s the way the games business always has worked.”
Jorgensen also said they will most likely be running promotions with the release of the new Star Wars Movie, The Last Jedi:
“We will most likely discount the game like we did last time around the movie launch,”

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Release Date & Best Time to Buy
Star Wars Battlefront 2 was open for BETA in October and will be open to the public on November 17, 2017. This is a matter of days before Black Friday and Cyber deals week, and whilst we’ve been hoping for Star Wars Battlefront 2 Black Friday discounts, it looks like it may be better to wait until the new movie comes out (14 December 2017) if you really want to get yourself a discount.
