Sony XBR-A1E 4K OLED TV Overview
The Sony XBR-A1E is one of the more expensive OLED’s available in the 2018 holiday season. As you might expect, the Sony XBR-A1E comes with top of the range specification, with a combination of 4K and HDR available. Due to these features as well as the OLED technology, the Sony XBR-A1E delivers great black levels and sharp color contrast for a great all-round picture quality. It also features a 120 Hz native refresh rate to reduce blurring in fast paced action scenes.
In terms of the design, it is super slim and ultra modern looking, with a only a minimized black frame around the edge with no sign of speakers. But how does it produce sound you may ask? Well the screen itself features rear mounted exciters that vibrate the surface of the TV to produce the sound. There is also a sub woofer built into the optional stand, although it can be folded away for wall mounting.
